Excellent coffee and cake. A great little shop to stop at for a quiet morning tea in the old main street.

First time here and won’t be out last. Probably the best coffee we’ve had in the Tablelands. Great service and fantastic coffee.

The Carmel brownie was one of the best I have ever eaten. The White Whale coffee was Barista excellently. Cute, tucked up off the main streets. Definitely worth the short walk.

⸻ We would love to acknowledge the little treasure that is Botanica Yungaburra, located in Cedar Street just up from our store, Winter & Mann: The Best of North Queensland & Beyond. Botanica is truly where the locals gather. Early in the morning you’ll see tradesmen pulling up for their coffee fix, locals walking their dogs through the beautiful streets of Yungaburra stopping in, and friends catching up over brunch. It has become such a special part of the rhythm of our town. Georgia makes the most incredible toasted sandwiches and offers a generous selection of home-baked cakes. Her muffins are famous — and for very good reason. We have friends who drive up from Cairns and simply cannot pass through the Atherton Tablelands without grabbing one. They do sell quickly — first in, best dressed — and there have definitely been a few disappointed faces when they’ve missed out! They also have a gorgeous little side courtyard that is such a beautiful place to sit — peaceful, charming and perfectly in keeping with the historic surrounds. I have also ordered a birthday cake from Georgia for catering, and it was beyond incredible — so beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious. Her ingredient selection is of the highest quality, and you can taste the care and attention in every bite. I would highly recommend her baking for any special occasion. Open early and trading seven days a week, it’s incredibly convenient. Whether you’re stopping for a quick takeaway coffee or settling in for a relaxed catch-up, it always feels welcoming. Georgia and Eddie, along with their family, have poured their culinary skills and heart into this beautifully restored heritage building. The plants, the ambience and the warmth of the space make it feel perfectly at home in our quaint historic street — beside the hotel, bowls club, post office, chemist and physio. It is truly part of the fabric of our community. Their staff are always lovely and attentive, and a special mention to Grace, one of their senior team members, who is an absolute gem — professional, warm and always so welcoming. What an absolute gem of a cafe. Grace and Georgia make flat whites that put the cafes of Melbourne to shame. It’s like liquid silk. Great spot to sit and have a chat to the friendly locals in the beautiful little town of Yungaburra.They even have a little garden to the side with extra seating. Highly recommend

Botanica is a charming cafe nestled in the town of Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands. A range of freshly baked items are available every day from 7am.The muffins are of particular note ,the raspberry and white chocolate may soon be added to the Health Departments addictive substances list.So hurry before they are banned! The lovely crew of young women with their ready smiles and bonhomie round off a memorable experience. For those that are discerning coffee drinkers (thats you Melbourne people) they serve a magic! Get in early to beat the rush.
